I wanted to ask if it could be interesting for me to add this community to a system I use to circulate news about techno-politics and tech labor. The material is hand-curated, but the posting is automated on a bunch of platforms and communities.

It could be a way to generate some discussion for newcomers and in general have a constant stream of posting.

If I just plug it into the “labor” stream, that’s at most average 2-3 articles a week, so it’s never spammy.

Let me know what you think. The system is based on n8n, so adding your community as a destination would take me at most a few minutes.

Hey @chobeat, I think you could definitely go ahead and set this up. Would be nice to keep some life in here and give people reasons to come back, help the community build momentum in the early days.

I realized the Discourse APIs are not really for users but only for admins, so I can’t generate an API key on my own. There should be the possibility to restrict the key to a single user though, so maybe there’s a safe way to do this. Obviously if it’s not too much bother, I’m doing this as a low effort thing for everybody involved.
